Digipak Research

The above photo is an example of a digipak. This is a good example of a digipak because it shows bright colour which instantly attract attention. Because of the bright colours, if this was on a shelf, people would notice it and it would stand out, probabaly resulting in them picking it up and being interested in it. This is an 8 page digipak, so has 8 pages of information.
This is another example of a digipak, however this one opens to form a cross shape. I think this is really interesting and what makes me interested is the fact that the cds are in the 4 parts of the digipak which are the edges and the information is in the middle. This goes against norms of digipaks having one disc in the middle of the case.

I really like Katy Perry's digipak because of the simplistic way. It is a six page digipak and the whole feel of it follows a dreamy and fantasy feel. I also like the simplistic view of it, with the backgrounds being very simple and the same on each page. I also like the way the disc has been decorated to follow the candy theme.
