My print advert is still following the theme of guitars and again I wanted to incorporate the writing into the middle of the guitar. I wanted to keep the print advert basic and simple so that it stood out. To link my digipak and print advert I kept the same font, colours and style of photo as well as the guitar theme.

Digipak
I decided to design my digipak around the theme of guitars because this is what I thought of when I listened to the song. I also wanted my digipak to stand out and be slightly different to a conventional CD and so it was this that inspired me to make my digipak circular. I wanted to try and make it look as 'guitar like' as possible and so incorporated the artist name and song title into the guitar. The sticker inside the guitar with this information on will be a pull out freebie sticker for the buyer to keep.
The left and right circles on the bottom will be where the CD is held.

Digipak Research
This is another example of a digipak, however this one opens to form a cross shape. I think this is really interesting and what makes me interested is the fact that the cds are in the 4 parts of the digipak which are the edges and the information is in the middle. This goes against norms of digipaks having one disc in the middle of the case.
I really like Katy Perry's digipak because of the simplistic way. It is a six page digipak and the whole feel of it follows a dreamy and fantasy feel. I also like the simplistic view of it, with the backgrounds being very simple and the same on each page. I also like the way the disc has been decorated to follow the candy theme.
